TESL TRAINING
In 2030, the country (Taiwan) will be designated as a “bilingual homeland.” Sheng-te is expected to be able to use English as the most effective communication tool. Therefore, Sheng-te will spare no effort to train teachers of all levels. The teacher training programs include the following:
- Teacher training for teaching other courses in English: In order to improve the quality of undergraduate teaching at all levels, schools will design effective teaching methods. Sheng-te will redesign a series of courses in line with how undergraduate teachers prepare lessons, and will fully participate in the immersive on-the-ground teaching experience. Our vision is to ensure that students are immediately connected to the teaching profession, giving the best teaching planning and quality through teacher training.
- Teacher training for children's American English: For enthusiasts who are committed to children's English teaching, our college provides professors at different levels of early child psychology, teaching methods, game discussion, classroom management, etc. After completing a certain amount of learning time and graduating, Sheng-te will award the "TESL" teaching certificate, so that those who really want to participate in children's English teaching can easily find a related job.
- Teacher training for those who have been engaged in English teaching: Our college will recruit professors with expertise in listening, speaking, reading, and writing, and give the students a deeper level of teaching and discussion of relevant expertise, which can enable them to absorb diverse new knowledge in addition to improving teaching methods.
